Closed bar seized after continuing operations
A bar located meters away from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) was caught continuing operations last Oct. 8 even after it was shut down.
Viewpoint, a student lounge originally built as fastfood restaurant serving silog meals, was closed after violating Republic Act 1224, which prohibits bars and similar establishments from operating outside a radial of 50 meters from schools, churches, and hospitals. Barangay chairman killed in ambush
A CCTV footage provided by Barangay 470 chairman Harry Nagal showed a riding-in-tandem implicated in the shooting of a barangay captain. However, there has been no lead on their identities.
