ANTIPOLO CITY- The location of the new public market here has been causing accessibility problems for the market-goers in some parts of the city.
The location of the new public market in Barangay Dela Paz on Sumulong Highway imposed a problem to some of the residents because different Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Association (TODA) of the city has yet to provide transportation services for consumers living in residential places like Maia Alta, Duraville, Grand Valley and Primrose.

The location of the new public market in Barangay Dela Paz on Sumulong Highway imposed a problem to some of the residents because different Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Association (TODA) of the city has yet to provide transportation services for consumers living in residential places like Maia Alta, Duraville, Grand Valley and Primrose.
Temporarily, the people avail themselves of the free shuttle service arranged by the management of the market that can be found near the National Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, commonly known as the Antipolo Church.
Mayor Casimiro Ynares III and the local government also provides temporary free rides for market goers to make their shopping more convenient.
According to a status posted on the Antipolo City Government’s Facebook account, the old location of the public market in M.L. Quezon Street will be constructed with a commercial development and government offices in line with the agreement of the former administration and a public firm under the City Ordinance No. 2013-525.
The construction of the public market is a project of former Antipolo Mayor Nilo Leyble.
